About The Creator
In 2012, I headed to Southeast Asia to do a Christmas project with orphans. It so happened to be one of the most influential experiences of my life. I was 21 years old at the time. Now, I am working hard to give orphans the resources they need to achieve their dreams.
I’ve led teams to Asia to help orphans in one of the most impoverished countries in the region: Myanmar.
I instruct my teams again and again to journal.
God is going to do amazing things and release you from things that keep you from His best in your life.
If you have been or encountered someone who has gone on a trip like this, you understand what I’m talking about.
The catch is, we also have felt that amazing life change, and somehow, slowly revert back to life as usual.
I began to ask why?
"I Couldn't keep up...100 stories to capture with only 10 minutes of energy "
Is there a way to capture these amazing experiences we could build upon later? Is there a way to keep us in the headspace: God is big! Abroad and at home…
I realize even for myself, as someone who has stacks of journals, journaling everything God is doing on the mission field is difficult.
At the end of any given day in country, I remember 100 stories to capture with only 10 minutes of energy.
Sadly, I close my journal and nothing gets documented.
And if you aren’t an avid writer, a blank journal… for many… is daunting.
